Typing Quest

Terms of Service

Last updated 5 October 2026

The short version: Typing Quest is free to play. Be fair, be kind, and don't try to break the game or cheat the leaderboards. In-game coins, cards and cosmetics are just for fun and have no real-world value.

Using Typing Quest

Typing Quest at typing.org.uk is a free typing game. You can play as a guest or sign in with Discord or Google to save your progress online and take part in leaderboards and competitions. By using the game you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Your account

Fair play

Leaderboards and competitions are only fun if they're fair. You agree not to:

Runs that look automated or impossible are left off the leaderboards automatically. We may remove results, reset progress, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Names and competitions

Display names and competition titles must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonate someone else, or advertise. We may change or remove any that are, and suspend accounts that keep breaking this rule.

In-game items

Coins, crates, cards, shards, tickets, cosmetics and other in-game items have no monetary value, can't be bought or sold for real money, and belong to the game rather than to you. We may rebalance or change them as the game develops.

The game itself

Typing Quest, including its code, art, cards and names, belongs to its creator. Please don't copy or republish the game or its parts. The fonts used are open-source and are credited in the site's font licence file.

We work hard to keep the game running and your progress safe, but it's provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs, and we may change, pause or end features or the game itself. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions? Email info@typing.org.uk.
